Duke Trip Day 2

Yesterday was a pretty calm day here. Mike did get a full MRI under anesthesia.

Because he was worked into the anesthesia schedule, the MRI took up the whole morning and early part of the afternoon. The plan was to keep him overnight in case some sort of treatments need to happen in light of the MRI results. So, we had an uneventful and blessedly boring evening. We just rested. It was sort of nice to just have time to not talk about cancer for a couple hours.

Today, we’re waiting on all the doctors to come through to share the new plan going forward. In the meantime, look at our view! The cathedral is the incomparable Duke Chapel. I want to take a tour during our future visits down here. It’s gorgeous! ⬇️
